August 2006: GSE Dynamics, Inc., Honored as Best Value Silver Medal by Defense Supply Center Richmond (DSCR)

GSE Dynamics, Inc., Hauppauge, N.Y., was honored by the Defense Supply Center Richmond (DSCR) as one of the government’s best suppliers at an Automated Best Value System award ceremony in Richmond, Virginia from June 5-7, 2006. Firms that qualify as Automated Best Value System medalists have met stringent quality and delivery requirements established by the Defense Logistics Agency. GSE Dynamics, Inc. accepted the Silver Medal from the commander of the supply center, Navy Rear Adm. Mark Heinrich, and the vice director of the Defense Logistics Agency Maj. Gen. Loren M. Reno, U.S. Air Force.

According to the President of GSE Dynamics, Inc., Anne Shybunko-Moore, “Receiving an award like this reminds me of the continued strength of manufacturing on Long Island. There were many companies representing Long Island at the Annual Conference in Richmond.”

GSE Dynamics, Inc., a Woman Owned Small Business, was founded in 1971 and has established itself as a proven provider of "best value solutions to challenging military requirements."  GSE Dynamics, Inc. is an industry leader in complex assembly, advanced composites technology, metal fabrication and support processes. The firm supplies complex assemblies for a variety of military requirements to the U.S. Department of Defense as well as other Prime Contractors. Examples of these include engine components for the M1-A2 Main Battle Tank, Composite Antenna and Periscope Fairings for submarines as well as numerous detail components for the Air Force where GSE is a key supplier for their C-5 and C-130 programs.

GSE is currently in the midst of a significant growth period as part of their strategic business plan. This is evidenced by the opening of their second manufacturing facility in Hauppauge. This new facility is focused on Advanced Composite Structures which include the fabrication of Mast Fairings for the Navy. According to Shybunko-Moore, “The fact that we were able to maintain our high level of quality and delivery during this phase of growth is a testament to GSE’s highly skilled and dedicated employees, and I appreciate their efforts.”

GSE has strong technology positions on many key, funded programs that are essential to the nation’s defense and transformation strategies. GSE offers unprecedented capability within a low cost environment.  Their demonstrated record of delivery and quality performance, combined with affordability, allows them to offer the "best value solutions" to their customers.
